CLAIM: Aleph began in June 2025 as an engineering question about the keeper's NV-centre processor: "can this compute at all?" The device (NV centre in diamond, 13C lens, gates by phase, "no information moves, only phase is redistributed", no global clock) is a holonomic quantum computer in the Zanardi-Rasetti sense. Known theorem: one phase (abelian holonomy) is NOT universal; universality needs non-abelian holonomy, a rotation inside a degenerate subspace of dimension >= 2. Every mass construction we have so far is abelian (phase delta = 2/9, gamma_N = alpha - alpha^2), and it fails exactly where one phase is not enough: for quarks. By the criterion of its own origin, the construction "cannot compute" yet.

BASIS: inference; calculation (audit)
CHECK: each sector is a direction on a sphere, polar angle theta = arctan r, Koide Q = 2/3 iff theta = 45 deg. Measured r: leptons 1.000000, down 1.11652 +/- 0.00058, up 1.28880 +/- 0.00095. Refuted: 1 - 1/r^2 = 2 gamma (leptons off by 34164 sigma) and any simple r = f(gamma). Audit of the catalogue: T26's identity sqrt(3/305 x 305/3) is identically 1 (the number survives, the reason does not); T5 off by exactly x2 (Laplacian convention, matters for any mass scale); T7 holds only under the strict triangle inequality on weights and only for one step Q3 -> Q4. Provenance found by search: the pair log/soft appears nowhere in the 2025 material; it came later and must not be read back into it. The 2025 scale S = sqrt(l_P / R_H) is an identity equivalent to Omega_Lambda ~ 1 today: it restates the coincidence, explains nothing.
EXPECT: a non-abelian holonomy (loops in different order give different rotations) yields r = 1 exactly for leptons and an r that is not a function of gamma for quarks.
REFUTE: a non-abelian version fails the same r filter; or an abelian construction reproduces quark r without new inputs.
OPEN: find the smallest degenerate subspace and loop pair that pass the r filter; ask the T7 authors to restate it with the triangle condition; three independent routes to the number 3 (T4 Sylow subgroups, three-distance theorem, hypercube dimension in T7): complementary or competing?
