CLAIM: Theory ℵ (Aleph) in one card. Physics runs on one rule-pair. LOG is a rule that keeps a mode coherent; two compatible rules merge into a simpler common rule one level up (log x log = vacuum + log at ℵ+1). SOFT (short for sophistry) is the fragmenting remainder: it scatters energy to neighbouring levels and is locally the "pressure" log works against. A stable resonance of modes defines an ℵ0: a sector with its own tick and centre. ℵ0s nest (ℵ-1 inside ℵ0 inside ℵ+1) and couple only to nearest neighbours. At the centre of any ℵ0 log:soft stays 50/50. Time, 3+1 dimensions, the speed of light and the dark sector are meant to come out of this nesting, not to be put in.

BASIS: inference; partial calculation
CHECK: Lattice toy: a front's crossing rate saturates at 1 per tick, so c = L/tau is an emergent light cone; with a = lambda*v the temperature has the Unruh FORM T ~ a/c, but the coefficient hbar/(2pi kB) is not derived (needs lambda*tau = 2pi, unexplained). Several earlier mass-ratio fits were refuted or turned out known (Koide circulant = Brannen 2006).
EXPECT: once log/soft is written as algebra, the nesting rule gives at least one parameter-free number that standard physics does not, e.g. why the photon has no mass gap and the gluon field does.
REFUTE: the formal nesting rule reproduces only known physics with no new number, or needs a free parameter for every observed one.
OPEN: 1) log/soft as algebra (soft is a lowering operator with soft^2 != 0); 2) what bounds an ℵ0; 3) derive lambda*tau = 2pi or drop it; 4) DESI w(z) against the 50/50. Other systems: take one and open toe/<topic>.
